The peas I used are very hard so it will have no problems chewing through anything you throw at it. Sorry about the shoddy quality, Amazon will not let me upload in true quality...

before I had this grinder, I had one that I got from a flee market for $10. Needless to say it was a piece of crap. I smoke a lot and have a lot of knowledge on this kind of stuff. These grinders are made by CNC machines and have high precision and accuracy. The top piece twists very well and even the hardest stuff gets grinded with ease. The screen is well made and collects a lot of pollen fast. It also comes with a pollen tool, this is a product I recommend especially at this price.

As the title implies, this is a great little device. I had a different grinder, years ago, and this one is so superior, plus it allows you to collect the pollen as well as grind. It is made of metal (stainless steel or aluminum, I'm not sure!) and is absolutely "bulletproof".
Someone complained that using this grinder was rough on the hands, to which I say: NONSENSE! I like the fact that it has textured edges along the two sides you twist in opposite directions: much easier to grip and hold than a smooth surface.
I recommend this industrial-strength grinder highly.

This Sharp Crusher is great in all aspects of a grinder. There's a pollen catcher on the bottom, the blades on top are sharp, the grinded plants come out in good small to medium perfect size. When the "material" is grinded, there is a more reasonable amount of room in this grinder for the grinded "material" because it is large and wide. ALSO another important part of a grinder for me would be how strong and durable you can screw the grinder, and the different parts screw in very tightly and also dont ware from being screwed and unscrewed. One this I may reccommend to the manufacturer is the magnetic top needs a slightly stronger magnet, I dont think it's a critical flaw because the magnet is still pretty good.
