The peas I used are very hard so it will have no problems chewing through anything you throw at it. Sorry about the shoddy quality, Amazon will not let me upload in true quality...

I ordered this grinder and it was here in 4 days. The grinder is great, the first thing i grinded up was some "Herb", it grinded that stuff up to the perfect consistency to smoke. By the time i was out of my "Herbs", i opened up the pollen chamber and there layed a pile of pure powder, which was a treat considering i was out of my herb. Overall Great grinder, very fast shipping.

The grinder arrived on time, well packaged and in perfect condition. It works beautifully and saves me time. Basil and oregano come out in the perfect consistency for my tomato sauce, no more mortar and pestle!

fine product but i suppose i was looking for something that would grind up finer pieces. this is works great if your looking to grind herbs for a tea bag mixture. i was hoping it would make the herbs powder-like. the holes are far to large & the blades are not close together enough for this purpose.

This is a neat little grinder if you have never had one before. The grinder, as is, is a four piece with a screen to collect fine herb material. But the screen is so tightly wound that you have to puncture it a million times with a needle in order to allow any "pollen" to fall through. Other than that the metal threads are just ok. They arent super sharp so you have to grind for a while. For what youre paying its an alright grinder. But if you are a serious smoker and like a good grinder, spend a few extra bucks on a better one.
PS: a lot of people are talking about metal shavings in their herb. You must wash the grinder before the first use and you shouldnt see any shavings after that.
