1please dont buy this.  Apr 17, 2011 By sammie
dont get me wrong, the case doesnt crush. however the cigarettes contained therein do. its in two pieces and has no stop for king cigarettes, so it rests on the cigarettes and if you keep it in your pocket(which is the main purpose for a crush-proof case) the jostling will bend your cigarettes. if you pack your own like i do, you dont want to see all your hard work ruined by a terrible case. im willing to be this was designed by somebody who doesnt even smoke. DO NOT BUY

5Suits it's Purpose  May 06, 2010 By Doctor S. "MD"
The main reason I got a container like this is because I usually smoke soft-packs, which are easy to crush accidentally, especially after there are only a few left. This container is made of light, low-grade metal- probably aluminum- but it does look nice and is sturdier than it feels, and the price is right, especially if you are more concerned with protection than fashion. If you want the sterling silver, mother of pearl case that will impress people, of course you will have to spend a lot more- if you want a simple, sturdy container for your smokes, this is fine.

3Semi disappointing  Jan 15, 2010 By Jared Burchard "father dragon"
When it arrived and I got to open it and hold it in my hand, I was surprised at how light and flimsy it feels. It feels like it is made out of the same material as those shiny little sheriff's badges that kids get at the doctor's office. It is ridiculously thin and I really hope that the friend I bought it for isn't insulted by its lightweight construction.

Aside from that, the case looks pretty cool and vintage. That's the reason I bought it.

I also bought it because it was pretty cheap, but I really think that this item should have been sold for cheaper. If you want a cigarette case, I would go with the standard clamshell style unless you are looking for something out of the ordinary.

The case is in two pieces, I guess so that you can put the cigarettes in more easily, but the top piece slides down too far for normal king size cigarettes, so the top piece never reaches its maximum resting point on the bottom piece and just rests on the cigarettes, if that makes sense. I can't imagine putting 100s in this; I don't think it would work too well.

It is a very cheap case - you know this. If you want to buy it, buy it, but keep in mind what I have said about its flimsy nature.

5Norie  Dec 22, 2011 By Norie
I've had 4 of these for a few years now. And yes at first I was uncomfortable with them. But then I realized that if I squeezed the the top in a little , then The case fit tighter. The I never had a problem again with the top sliding around and falling off or crushing my cigs. Doing this made them perfect for me. Try it and see !

5Metal cigarette pack  Nov 13, 2011 By Kenneth Corbin
My husband loves this metal cigarette pack and it is easy to fill as one just opens the top and fills the pack. Much easier than paper packs. Also, the slide close lid keeps the cigarettes protected from the air and keeps them moist.
