I've had my eye on these for some time now reading reviews on various forums and finally decided to purchase them for myself. I am happy to say that they do the job well, no more flaming nuggets to the back of the throat from your screenless bowl. Gone are the days of finding ash or even worse unburned product floating around your favorite "water piece". Check them out you will not be disappointed.

I have had these for about a year now and they are by far the best thing i ever purchased for my medical needs. I love the fact that they are not all the same size, because i have a reasonable collection of glass that i like to use regularly. Therefore its nice to be able to have a different size depending on the piece i'm using. I try and only use a screen one time and then i drop it in a shot glass and once its halfway full of screens i poor some glass cleaner in it and let it set for a few days and then just rinse them out. I use a glass cleaner called Grunge-off since its reusable and all natural i believe.
The #1 thing i love about these screens is that they do what they were designed to do. Therefore i never have to worry about ash getting into my glass or worse off having a piece of amber get shot down my throat. Ouch! I'm able to smoke all the way down to the last white-grey puff and that is awesome.
I have probably lost 20 of these things over the course of the year. Either because they have fell in my sink drain or have fell from 5 feet in the air and hit my concrete floor in my bathroom and broke. But each time that has happen, my reaction is usually "Pffft i have like a 150 more, who cares".
Another thing i love is the price of these. At my local headshop they charge a ridiculous price for these. Something like $2 for 4 and thats for the small ones. So if your wondering about buying these, just go to your local headshop. I guarantee you will come home and order these after your visit.

These do work and work well as an alternative to regular brass and steel screens; however, they only work in glass smoking pieces and are not affective in any other type of pipe.
I purchased these with the intention of eliminating the existence of any metal in my smoking experience. Metal oxides are bad for you and all glass is definably the healthiest material to utilize for smoking purposes.
Lastly they are not "high quality" as claimed none of them are identical and many are lopsided and a few are unusable. Thankfully the majority of them are fine.

They are awesome they DO NOT restrict air flow unless you have a small cheap pipe. For those of us with nice glass pipes they are the way to go
They last as long as you don't break them, I use them and I clean them and reuse them alot the last year I have gone thru maybe 5-7 and I use my glass pipe ALOT!! So if you care about what you smoke buy these an all glass pipe rules . you will be amazed at the difference in the taste of the smoke , since there is no metals of any kind when you use these. So bottom-line They are the best. no draw backs and many advantages.
